Workshops are offered from 9:00PM to 10PM. "Big Jimmy Shines" is teaching Intermediate Turn Patterns ON2 in Studio A, Mr.Mambo teaching Beginner/Intermediate Salsa ON1 in Studio B, and Luz Rodriquez is teaching Ladies Styling for all levels ON1/ON2 in Studio C downstairs.

Salsa Metro’s 11th Annual New Year’s Eve Party Thursday, Dec. 31, 2009 from 7pm-3:00am at the Hilton Washington, DC/Rockville, MD Hotel and Executive Meeting Center one block from Twin Brook Metro on the Red Line. VIP tickets include a three–course dinner and open bar (water, wine, beer and soft drinks only) during dinner. Entertainment to be provided by Edwin Ortiz y La Romana, DJ Azucar, Salsa Fuego and other dance shows to be announced. VIP tickets are $100 until Dec 15 when they increase to $125.00. If any tickets remain, they will be sold at the door for $150. Tickets without dinner are $50 until Dec 15 when they increase to $60.00. If any tickets remain, they will be sold at the door for $75.
