My many years as a professional performer and dance coach have yielded some universal dance & rhythm principals which we include in our teaching program such as the following:
1. An emphasis on strong fundamentals.
2. Instruction & Explanation on how to listen and count to varying tempos and how to distinquish between the Clave, the 1, & the 2.
3. Break-down each combination down to its elemental components.
4. Always reminding you that Dancing is FUN not Choreography!!
